Accenture MCDP Salary and Experience Questions

Hi! New to WSO so pls be nice to me! I go to what I think people on here refer to as a top public ivy (in California) and I know some people joining the Accenture Management Consulting Development Program straight from undergrad.

One of them is busy showing off to his social media followers that the total first year compensation for an analyst is close to 100k (for the san francisco office with a supposed 85k base???). What kind of consulting work merits this? I'm confused because I interviewed for a strategy role at Deloitte Consulting, and I even know kids who joined Parthenon with a ~90k base so how are kids at accenture management consulting getting this level of first year compensation???

I was told the accenture program does not even involve working with strategy commitments. Do these kids get high salary raises and strong private equity/strategy/corporate development exits? Very very confused - especially because even a bunch of kids from my school who have worked at LEK, bain etc are no working in strategy at startups...

Maybe someone from accenture can speak to compensation for first year undergrad analysts and the experience and work you get. What does second year analyst compensation look like as well? What are the hours and do you actually travel for client work?

Thanks!

Like I said I'm new to WSO so I don't know anything about the correct terminology or whatever lol...also just to clarify I'm an international student and I never applied to Stanford. So I think you are just making assumptions...
