Allston Trading: algorithmic trader role?

A headhunter recently contacted me about an algorithmic trader role at Allston Trading. I'm definitely aware of who they are since it's in Chicago but don't know too much about them. Curious to hear people's thoughts and experiences with them.

Heh, I met a fellow from there who worked there a year and then started a grocery store down in Hyde Park (where he had gone to school and was going to continue teaching). He seemed to like his time there but academia seemed more his style.

I know a couple guys working there currently, and they all seem to like the place a lot. I have heard good things about them from people working at other prop shops (guy from Optiver and guy from Wolverine). I have also heard that their FICC desk is particularly good, though this is not to say they aren't good in other areas as well. Sounds like they have a very good technology infrastructure and that developers have a relatively large amount of sway.

Brady, pm me if you want any more specific details and good luck on the job search (just saw your new post).
