Anyone else struggling with GMAT sentence correction?

I am going through the official guide questions and I really struggle even with the easiest questions.Using the online resource you can sort the questions in terms of difficulty. It is very rare for me to get 2 questions right in a row even on the easy setting. I have been reading the Manhattan guide and Veritas prep guide and thought I understood it but when I see a question I am like a deer caught in the headlights.
All the answer choices seem correct to me and I end up guessing.
I am a native English speaker and read a lot of books.

Any advice?

CarlJung I too was struggling with sentence correction for a while until I hit some inflection point. I think what really helped for me is that I would break down the sentence, look and see what is underlined: is it a modifier, pronoun, s/v agreement? If you can understand the few areas the GMAT are testing on a sentence correction problem, it becomes easier to find the right answer. I only really used the OG guide for sentence correction but I would recommend looking up your book version on GMAT Club and get a list of all sentence correction problem #'s by main type (i.e. modifiers, S/V agreement, parallelism). Try your best to pinpoint what types of sentence correction problems you struggle the most with and work on those areas.

If you have the budget for it, think about hiring a private tutor...I worked with Noodles Pro and was connected with an awesome tutor. My verbal score was lingering in the mid 30's but ended up with a 42 on my official exam.
