Are Boomers The WORST Generation?

These SOBs were able to buy multiple homes and raise a family on a single hourly income.. while benefiting from the best economy and stock market in U.S. history, while we have to pay anywhere near 2-5x the same price for the same home on a relatively flat (inflation adjusted)  income level.

Then boomers have to audacity to blame the younger generations, as if we’ve been in political power for multiple decades.

Yup.

Did you go on TRT after 50?

Don't know any boomers who have multiple homes on single, hourly incomes, even in LCOL areas.  I understand your point but if you make these kind of exaggerations you are not making a better case.

However, it does irritate me that every boomer who didn't save enough money is now trying to sell their house for some crazy amount and move to Florida as a get out of jail free card.

The solution is building more affordable housing and better infrastructure.  Democrats are definitely a little shaky in this regard especially the ones in NY or SF, but the Republican party is far worse, driving up housing prices to win back the educated suburban voters leaving the right in droves.  "Your housing prices will go up..." simple as that!

Well Millennials have an even better stock market and economy currently, yet that wont stop them from bitching

Millennials who gripe about 'boomers' think their lives are too hard. In reality their lives werent hard enough.

Literally most boomers are broke, and most retired people are almost entirely dependent on social security.  It's horrifying to be old in this country for the vast majority, and I am grateful to be in a career that will enable me to retire with plenty.  I hope you feel the same, the people on this forum have a tendency to lose perspective, myself included, but we really are lucky.

It's winner take all in the US, and that's true for Boomers as much as it is for every other generation.

I feel like this generation of Americans (that is, the almagamation of all generations of living persons) is the worst in our history. The Greatest Generation raised the spoiled Boomers who raised the detestable Gen Xers and Millennials, who have raised the even more detestable Zoomers. Gen X and the Boomers brought us the internet and the Millennials brought us social media, which is destroying society.

In the West, we have never had more abundance and yet we've never been angrier and complained more. This generation of Americans despises those who came before us; collectively, we feel that all those who came before us were immoral, knuckledragging apes who accomplished nothing. Whine, bitch, complain. Show off online. Do drugs. Commit suicide. Play endless video games. Watch endless porn. Share an endless stream of bad ideas. The internet is basically going to lead to the destruction of a whole society of people--individually, person to person.
