Asking for resume push

Hey guys I have been networking but when it is finally time to submit your application is it too blunt to email some of your contacts and ask them to push your resume? If so, what is a more subtle way to go about it? I guess I am just concerned there is some resume pushing etiquette that I may be unaware of.

Thanks.

Let him know that you're submitting, thank him for his help; chances are he'll offer to, or just do it on his own. He knows that 1) he can push it, and 2) you want him to; no need to push it in his face. Also, don't forget to name him on your cover letter.

Pretty simple

"Do you know the name of a recruiter I can speak to about the application process?" "Do you mind introducing me to other people in your divison" "Do you know anything about the process"

People get the hint. Usually they just email recruiter and cc you.

PS naming people on cover letter will get you the interview b/c of HR - but in the actual interview process, it will hurt you. I've dinged many ppl who bullshtted about some random dude they know
