Compensation sits somewhere between commercial banking and corporate banking at the junior level.

Analysts are around 90k all in while associates are around 115-130 all in.

I don't know how people get these type of payout.

Currently at top 3 ABL lender (BB)

Analyst 2

Base: $75k

Bonus: 15% (same for on analyst / associate)

Hours: 40hours (precovid) 55-60hours (over the past 6 months)

40 hours precovid and you're an analyst.

Guys above you were associates working much greater hours, so likely different ABL strategies?

Underpay is a understatement at my BB. All analyst and associate work on the same thing, there's literally no difference between analyst and associate. Let me put it this way, I work at one of the firm JPM/WF/BOA. The deal exposure is great, a lot of financial sponsor deals, worked on a bunch of deals that you will see on the news.

I would qualify this by saying make sure you know your shit. I heard of a mid tear bank looking for a Associate and all in comp was >200k . They interviewed people from wf/boa, ect and none fully knew their 3 statement modeling. As an Associate, if you're running accounts you should know how to model.
