B-Schools Most Respected in the City?
I was wondering what B-Schools are most respected in London based consulting and banking?
Do firms in the City look at grads of US MBA programs?

The FT B-school rankings are a pretty good indicator of reputations in London.
Even though I'm late in replying to my own thread, would state programs such as Michigan Ross, Berkley Hass, or UVA Darden carry any currency in London?
Ditto for say NYU Stern or Cornell Johnson?
The distinction public and private schools and their ranking is variable. Schools like Berkley Hass carries well internationally as do most Ivy League schools since they have greater alumni numbers overseas than some other their peers. On the other end, Michigan Ross less so as well as Brown and Cornell, where some don't know their Ivy League affiliation.
Coastal schools tend to do better as well.
I'll rank the schools you gave me and give my impression of each versus the U.S. consensus. Sample key: High = generally viewed better in London than the U.S. average.
NYU Stern - Very High UC Berkley Hass - High UVA Darden - Low Cornell Johnson - Fair Michigan Ross - Very Low
Disclaimer: My views are of an American who has lived in London. The viewpoints are a collection of my own opinion and the impressions of my colleagues in London.
Would you please do this same comparison for each of the T15 U.S. schools? This is really interesting, even if only anecdotal.
