Bain - Final Round Decisions?
Hi everyone! I had my final round interview at Bain this past Friday and was wondering if anyone else had heard back. I've seen other posts about McKinsey and BCG having fast turnaround times, but does anyone know if Bain is just as fast? I'm sitting on an offer from a T2, but Bain is my first choice.
The turnaround time can be vary widely depending on whether you're an undergraduate, experienced candidate, or business student. If the offer from the T2 is going to explode within a couple days, you should let your interviewers know. Other than that, don't read into the time it takes for them to get back to you.
Thank you! I'm an Experienced Candidate so I'm not sure if there is a priority (B-schoolers first?). I guess I'll sit tight and wait!
There's no priority (you're not being compared to students), but for more structured processes (MBA/undergrad), there is push to make quick decisions. I'm not familiar with the experienced candidate processes, but I imagine there's no rush for the firm to make a decision unless they know you have another offer.
Just wondering, are you a pre-mba experienced candidate or post?
When I got an offer, it was like 6 hours after the interview, when I was in line in the airport. Not sure how it goes from office to office, though. Probably a bit different.
Cool! I've heard that, but I was wondering mostly for those of us on the slower uptake... Congratulations on your offer!
Had an interview on a Friday afternoon and got my offer around 10 AM on Monday morning for an internship. Hope you hear back soon!
Me too (but only if it's good news. Haha). Congratulations! May I ask what office it was for?
For off-cycle interviews, it can vary. Could be up to even two weeks to get a yes, depending on the availability of those that interviewed you to make a decision and how structured the off-cycle process is in your respective office.
Usually your gut feeling is right about how well you performed in the interview.
Thanks for the heads up! My gut is mixed on the partner interviews so I'm not uber optimistic. Still nothing official, though. If I don't get bounced by midday Friday, I'll reach out to the recruiter and ask if they have an ETA to get an update.
