My favorite was Potato Head, great and chill spot. Club Street is nice, a lot of bars there. Then you have Arab Street, which has some great bars. For going out I would usually go to Ce La Vi (I know you dont spell it like that, they do), or Kilo Lounge. Those were my favorite clubs, ce la vi for the view and the less trashy crowd (like at clarke quay), and Kilo lounge for the music.
1 Altitude/ Altimate are great too, I just never dug the vibe.
