I've seen a job advertised in my city for Buy Side Equities Research at SIG - didn't even know they hired in this area (it's all inward-facing advising their traders). As someone who always thought of heading into BB ER, was curious as to if anyone could contrast the two.
From what I gather, SIG's role would be a lot more dynamic and real time, however beyond that what's career progression like/salaries/interesting aspects of work/etc.
