Are any bulge bracket or reputable mid market firms still hiring i banking analysts? It seems like in this economic climate especially the banks are just filling their recruiting classes with junior summer interns or those with significant connections. Are they all in their final interview stages already? Is there no room for a good, top NESCAC student with a finance (not IB) internship on the resume? Where else could I land; what's an alternative?
