What do you guys think of this? A firm's 3rd year Analyst partied with her male supervisors and harassed by her MD later hires a lawyer to sue the firm for a large settlement, wins the lawsuit.

i wonder if she is the same person

It is way too similar to not be the same person. Key details like payouts might be altered to "protect anonymity" but yeah it is likely the same person.

There is one key piece of information missing.

"Next morning she had a talk with MD in his office"

If this was just a "Hey sorry, I totally shouldn't have acted so unprofessionally, can we put this behind us?" then this situation sucks for both MD and SVP and the whole situation sucks.

If this was a "Hey, don't mention this to anyone or else..." type of talk then the MD had it coming and the SVP got boned in the process.

I'm inclined to believe it was the former since the MD seemed like he was drinking / it was late / and he still called a cab for her (I don't imagine he could've handled it any better, short of not making a move).

What is the source of that quote? A google search isn't pulling anything for me.

Sorry, to clarify, I mean we DON'T KNOW how that discussion with the MD went. Those are two possibilities, either of which changes the situation at hand.

can you take a picture of the article? or Pm to people who really want to see it?

Cash and cash equivalents: $7,286

Ah ok, thanks for clarifying. Didn't want to throw you to the wolves or anything, but since names were being dropped I figured it would be best to be 100% sure. Taking down a true statement would have been way less problematic than helping spread libel / slander someone by name. My first response still stands, SVP got fucked hard either way.

I read a discussion here which basically said; A girl who worked in BBH partied with her MD and SVP every night. One of those night she went out alone with her MD and the MD made a move towards her and she declined and let her go home. The girl told the SVP about it and told him not to report it just yet. Later she sued the company for sexual harassment. Apparently both SVP and MD got fired and she got a quarter million dollars.

the story was something close to this

Just cut them out of the loop. It's not worth it.
No partying. No Drinking. Just be boring and uninteresting and go get some real friends outside the office.
Now whenever some dumb chick at the office/work related drinks that has little professional value initiates talk or asks me what i've been up to this we/xmas/holiday/whatever, I just rotate between uninspiring stories that noone wants to expand on so that she moves on to the next BSD.

"Not much, just watched some TV and cleaned my flat"
"My bathroom flooded and i had to keep arguing with the landlord the whole weekend"
"I caught the flu and had to sleep for 3 days, i am getting better though".
"Had to sort some paperwork, so couldn't go anywhere this holiday."

If she is actually valuable in a professional sense, you can talk about work and avoid getting stuck in the usual flirty chit chat.
