Here's a breakdown of PUA:
50%- improve your confidence with better diet, exercise, dressing well, and talking to random people 50%- talk down to really hot girls and eventually you'll find one that will sleep with you.
I think there's one or two decent PUAs out there, but they are absolutely the exception. Don't do PUA bs, get a life coach or get your shit together.
The Game is a good start. I would argue it's a bit outdated, but I feel it's one of those "classics" everyone starts out with.
The new thing now is called Daygame. Essentially going up to women in any location (the street, mall, cafe, store, etc) during the daytime. You can look up the theory behind it and why some PUA prefer this type of game over nightgame.
If I only have to make one point to you is don't get caught up looking to amass a collection of books and videos. You'll waste your time. You actually need to go out there in the "field" to talk to women and practice. There is nothing worse than a keyboard jockey who claims to know everything about picking up women, but doesn't have any practical experience. Practice the 90/10 rule. 90 percent practice, experience, going out. 10 percent theory (these books/videos.)
Below you can see some of the websites I've come across and I that I read/view on occasion. At the of the day, you'll realize all this stuff is common sense. Sure, they are some subtleties and techniques, but it ultimately comes down to you going up a girl. It's a win/win situation. If it doesn't work out, well screw it. You'll never have to wonder about what if. And if it works out then it does.

Why don't you read up on exercise and nutrition instead? Then apply that. Then read some real books so that you're not a boring fuck. Maybe buy some clothes that fit you and aren't made of plastic. Then go talk to bishes of your choosing.

The whole, if you look buff and in shape that girls will just want to sleep with you, that doesn't really work in the real world. If you have zero communication skills but look amazing girls will come up to you but leave in a hurry when you can't hold a conversation for more than hello. What you need to do is just talk to people, go up to 15 total strangers every day and try and get their numbers. You don't even need to call them ever just get their numbers, this will greatly improve your "short game" to use a golf reference. There can never be a long game if you can't get past hello. Also this exercise should sharpen your witty banter and make you seem more interesting than you actually are.
The main problem is not the recruiting. I just need to make up for a high turnover rate. They are usually freaked out by my obsessiveness with the technicalities of the choreography. It's not uncommon for me to have to endure bic slapping.
