"TheArtMajor" What do you say to the doc? I thought nowadays you have to do a psych eval or something

Nicotine gum, lozenges, or Zyn pouches (which I describe in my post in the "Does anyone dip" thread).

I just googled "nicotine nootropic", and here's a good quick write-up on the pros (enhanced cognitive function including short term memory, which I can personally attest to; decreased risk of Parkinson's; "tentatively an effective treatment for depression"; etc.) and cons of nicotine in non-tobacco form:

Edit - Recommend coupling with caffeine for optimal effects. In the words of the great John Daly, "Caffeine plus nicotine equals protein."

"WhatAmI" Title basically says it all, just looking for something to give me a boost when coffee doesn't cut it.

Crystal Meth is making a comeback. They even made a TV show about it.

Maybe this is a rare problem but I used to take caffeine pills and noticed tightness in my chest (as in scared something was going on with my heart tightness). Without fail any morning I used caffeine pills I had that problem. Mornings I didn't use caffeine pills I was ok. Haven't used them in a long time and haven't had that issue since. Could have been a problem with dosage, brand, or just me.

That's usually just a result from high BP man. Means you're taking too much for your body to handle/raising your blood pressure too much. Synthetic caffeine can be hard to dose properly.

it's actually not really allowed in Buenos Aires (nor most south american countries), the only place you can find it in Argentina is in the north

Peru / Bolivia are the hot spots for Coca tea, good stuff

Mate is good as well.

Maintain 10% bodyfat (or less), drink 4 liters of water a day, consume a paleolithic diet (one that replaces dessert with red meat), get at least 7 hours of sleep a night, and NEVER masturbate.

Your body will be functioning at a level not seen in society for hundreds of years. Your hormone levels will balance out and energy will be boundless- both mental and physical.

-OR-

Come into work with bags under your eyes, alcohol on your breath, and try not to pass out during your fist piss break when you catch a waft of the smegma from your college-aged girlfriend that you didn't have time to shower off before coming to the office.

EDIT: You can do both

Yeah, that's gonna be a no from me, dog.

If you have a questionable moral compass, listen up.

It's not at all difficult to get a prescription for Adderall from a psychiatrist in NYC. But things to note. * Make sure the psychiatrist is Upper East Side as this is where the concentration of wealthy families and private school kids are. Amphetamines are given out quite often. * Book an appointment with a psychiatrist that you find from a google search, database, or referral. The expensive ones can be much greater than 100 dollars per hour. * Make bad eye contact. Look around the room a lot. Look up some of the basic symptoms of ADHD and talk about some of them, but don't go overboard. Don't be obvious. * Mention that you haven't gone to a psychiatrist before, but that you met with counselors/psychologists regarding difficulty reading. Explain you had difficulty focusing while reading and kept rereading page after page. Your mind was wandering. If you say you have gone to a psychiatrist before, they will ask for records. * It will take 3 or so sessions for them to give a diagnose and suggest trying medication. DO NOT bring up medication at all during the first meeting. Red flag. Just say you want to talk about some issues you have been happening. Guide easily into the topic of amphetamines. Ask your doctor "Do you think a low dosage of amphetamine-type medication would be helpful for me?"

It's not that hard. If you get a prescription, it's not illegal.

I did an experiment recently. Green tea, confirmed by 23andme and my personal experience, has an above normal affect on me. I got L-Theaning as a stand-alone supplement and it doesn't do dick. Need the full compound.

Depends on what you mean by legal.

Truly legal. Get Bronkaid or Primatene (over the counter) which contains 25mg of ephedra per pill and get caffeine at 200mg a piece. JetAlert is find, there are some supplement stores that sell more "brand name" but it doesn't matter.

Take it three times a day, roughly 4-6 hours apart (depending on your tolerance). Don't take more than 3 a day, I do 4 sometimes but I'll probably die before 30.

Not as legal but not Adderall without a prescription illegal. Clenbuterol.

If you really find it necessary you can probably get an adderall prescription from a doctor with relative ease.

I have one, but I haven't filled it in months and only used it at the beginning of my current job to hit the ground running.

I prefer cold brew and the 0 calorie monster these days, they don't destroy my appetite or make it impossible for me to hit the gym after I get home from work while providing a boost whenever necessary.

Aside from that I've found that maintaining a steady intake of water throughout the day with a few green teas thrown in works wonders.

The worst part of the Adderall is my two drinks after work, have to become like 6 to get a buzz. Then I get shit-faced without realizing it.

This thread is entertaining.

Try eating better and drinking water, for one, as others have said. If you really need the mental clarity and focus, try Modafinil but don't overdo it.

most people buy it online from India, not sure about how easy it is to get the provigil prescription since it's used for narcolepsy. It works really well

Okay.... I got this shit on lock for sure... I'll toss my top few obscure ones that people probably don't use...

In Pill form (longer-lasting I think, kicks in probably within the hour): No-Doz

In Gum form (kicks in fast as shit, big energy rush, keeps me awake for a fucking while): Military Energy Gum (they have it on amazon, get the one that has the blue camo packaging, they have real good deals on it if you buy the 120 count)

An alternative I use to 5-Hr energy is Redline 7-Hour energy its kind of expensive but it does the job damn well....

Also, stay the fuck away from this company called VivaZen.. it has kratom in it which I learned the hard way is some legal fucking opiod... had me on my best practically not able to move feeling my heart move in and out... and not in some cool druggie way.. more like a "I'm gonna die" way

Obvious next choices: - Red Bull (not the sugarfree one, shit is ass) - Monster Mango Loco (shit tastes fucking great actually) - 5 Hour Energy - 5 Hour Energy (Max Strength or Extra Strength I forget what they call it)

Also, real adderall tends to do the trick as well.... but I feel like that isn't the answer you're looking for...
