Best Perks & Benefits?

After interviewing for some time I've seen an increased focus on "perks and benefits" to improve work-life balance and compete with other industries.

I was curious about what were the ones that y'all found most attractive, interesting or unique.

All perks / benefits afforded to IBK Analysts are structured in a way so as to promote a patriarchal relationship between the employee and the employer. You are "empowered" with exposure to high-profile work while simultaneously being infantilized by paid-for meals that keep you at your desk and paid-for transportation to keep you there later.

The only "perk" you should give two fucks about is your compensation. Anything beyond that is not for your benefit.

Read about this one the other day - Neuberger Berman will contribute 15% of your salary to 401k, fully vested. No contribution from employee needed.

Few players recall big pots they have won, strange as it seems, but every player can remember with remarkable accuracy the outstanding tough beats of his career.

On-site gym and cafeteria is not a perk, everyone needs to realize that it's just another way for firms to make sure they get as much out of their employees by reducing time spent on external factors.

there's no such thing as WLB in finance. The "perks" like free food are designed to keep you in the office longer. Only thing that matters is your hours and comp.
