Best school to transfer to for IB: Michigan Econ vs. UVA Econ vs. Vanderbilt Econ

I'm looking to transfer and these are the three schools that I am deciding between. I really want to know if one is much better than the other for IB OCR. Also, I want to know how bad it would be if I went to Vanderbilt. I know that many consider it a semi-target, and I have heard that few banks recruit there. If anyone could give me any more info, that would be great. Let me know what you think.

Yea dude although UVA/UMich are generally better schools, it helps to not have a biz school when majoring in econ because you don't have ACCT/Finance majors taking the best finance positions. I would choose Vandy for that reason.

I applied to UVA and Vandy as well for junior standing. Have you already heard back yet? I have not. In regards to your question, I recently talked to a Vandy alum and he said the recruitment is meager. In my opinion, UVA econ is your best bet. The UVA name is strong and McIntire isn't as renowned (yet)

Update: Accepted in Vanderbilt. Still waiting to hear from UVA (Econ).

Might just go to Vandy. UMass Amherst --> Vanderbilt...quite the change lol
