Biden voters how you feeling? What do you like so far? What policy possibilities scare you?

Most of Joe Biden's policies/executive orders so far have been just repealing what Trump signed.

What are you thoughts on $15 federal minimum wage and what policy are you most scared of Biden possibly doing?

I didn't vote at all, but I'll still chime in. $15 federal minimum wage seems like a bad idea. I'm no professional economist, but it just seems like bad policy. Maybe there's an argument to be made that people need a more livable wage, but is a pandemic where the vast majority of small businesses on their knees the right time for this policy? Doesn't seem right to me at all. I'm just speculating here, but wouldn't increasing the minimum wage cause a lot of businesses (small and large) to lay off employees and also cause significant inflation? Finally, a federally set minimum wage just doesn't seem to make sense to me given that minimum wage should be based on COL. You're telling me that people in NYC have the same definition of a livable wage as the people in Bumfuck, Iowa? IMO, minimum wage should be calculated on a county level, but state is still better than a national minimum wage.

Prefer Biden to Trump in most areas but not a fan of a large minimum wage hike as well. Though, the previous Democratic attempt to raise the minimum wage to $10/hr was to take place over 2 years, so I imagine it would be at least 2025 and we would be out of the pandemic by the time it hit $15/hr if this passes. Florida just voted for $15 minimum wage and it doesn't fully hit until 2026.

Minimum wage should be axed and a market wage should be used. But I doubt boomers are willing to do anything about that.
