BlackRock Internships

I just had my Super Day with BlackRock's Portfolio Management Group for a summer internship. I know they are known to be one of the premier investment management firms in the world, but I'd ultimately like to end up in trading, particularly commodities.

Anyone have any thoughts on the ability to move into trading with a BB if they begin as an intern, or FT with an investment management firm such as BlackRock? Is the experience gained from a portfolio management position useful in a trading position?

Thanks.
