Boston U vs Northeastern U vs UIUC
Hi,
I've been accepted to Boston University, Northeastern University, and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as an Economics major for my undergrad. I know these schools aren't the best if you want to break into Investment Banking, but these are the only options I've got.
Any input on which school I should attend would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
I currently go to Northeastern University, and am in the process of recruiting for 2018 Investment Banking Summer Analyst positions. Shoot me a PM, and I can give you a lengthy review of my experience there.
Are you getting money from any of these schools?
Northeastern has a great Co-op program that could position you well if you hustle. You're not going to have amazing OCR, but if you land 2 solid 6 month co-ops leading into analyst recruiting - you should be able to position yourself well.
Don't know many people that went into IB from BU and can't speak to Illinois.
My thoughts exactly.
Send out the UIUC bat signal to IlliniProgrammer and he will help you out.
UIUC has an investment banking academy similar to Kelley's from what I hear. I think that's worth a look , but you might have to transfer into the business school.
