What are Brown University's Reputation and Placement in Finance? I have read through threads and it seems that there are mixed feeling.
Is it a "Target" School or a "Semi-Target" school?

This has been answered 10+ times. Brown University is definitely a target school, and the alumni are loyal. You see simply see less Brown alumni in high finance because few Brown students are interested in finance careers.

Target school. If you go to Brown and can't get into investment banking, it has nothing to do with the school. It has to do with the candidate.
I want to clear something up for everyone who asks these type of threads.
As an individual who went to a semi-target school, I feel that most of these garbage hogwash about what school to get into is far overblown. Even at harvard or Penn more kids won't get into banking than will. At the end of the day if you aren't solid, it doesn't matter what fucking school you go to.
