Bulge Bracket FIG?

Recently accepted a summer analyst offer within the FIG Group at a BB (Think MS, GS, JPM). Looking for any insights on the industry as a whole, where you see it headed, exit opps, and any resources or suggestions of what I can do to prepare myself for the internship. Obviously, I know that FIG is a different animal within IB, so I appreciate any insights you guys can provide

You should read about the banking regulations / laws (especially Basel III). Also, valuation is often done using the dividend discount model (DDM). Main ratios for comps are P/BV, P/E and also P/TBV. Try to read as much as you can on the financial instituions world. I don't think they will ask you yo know how to model a DDM from scratch. Congrats on the offer!
