Business Schools Might Have A Tiny Little Psychopath Problem
Hey Monkeys,
While on break from studying, I came across this article that alludes to the fact that business majors may think like psychopaths. According to Corey Shank, a PhD student at the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley;
Business students are more likely to fit the prototypical profile of a psychopath, including being more likely to be rebellious, manipulate others, and have a propensity towards guiltlessness. […] Fundamental differences in psychopathic personality can help explain why business students deceive others more often compared to nonbusiness students.
The student tested 120 business majors and 129 non-business majors. Giving them an ethics test, as well a test about how they behave when given the option to screw over someone for money. Apparently business majors, when given a significant amount of more money, for choosing to screw someone over did it. That plus the ethics tested revealed that business majors fit the profile of a psychopath.
What do you think? Do business majors really possess psychopathic traits?

If we analyze the mortgage crisis, it's true business majors are crazy.
Still not as crazy as psych majors.
I heard gender studies majors are quite crazy.
Well, that is obvious.
I think this applies to many people who climb the ranks. There are tons of psychopaths at my employer who are engineers, etc. Its amazing how manipulative they are and how they can weave lies into conversations without even blinking. It's all good as long as it helps them achieve their ambitions.
