Capital Markets to S&T
I've attempted to PM a few of the users who seem to have experience in Capital Markets, but have not received a response and figured I could just bring it to the whole group.
How feasible is it to move from Capital Markets to S&T, specifically sales? I will be starting in ECM next summer, but see my personality lending itself much more to sales on a trading floor than origination. Ideally, I would hope to make this move without going back for an MBA, although I haven't ruled it out. I have not seen this discussed much here, and would like to hear everyone's opinions (About moving, not how they feel about Capital Markets)

i have seen this move done, you can pm me for details but I think the easiest transition would be to sales of the product you have experience with from cap mkts
Actually I am curious, too. What type of person thrive in a capital market job? Is he more like a banker, or more like a trader?
Have a look at this video. It might give you a better insight (It's from BNP Paribas).

I think I have a new crush.
Capital markets is much closer to IBD than to S&T work-wise.
