Cheerleading look good on resume?

I've just been elected head of my uni cheer team, apart from a sping week this is all that's really going to change on my CV from applying for spring weeks last fall to applying to summer internships in S&T this fall. How much weight will this have? I kind of think, it may not be a 'graft' sport, but it shows some leadership and i'm sure if a guy was reading my CV they'd want to interview a cheerleader right? I'm in the UK so cheerleading isn't as big as it is in the US.

If you're a chick....Picture in uniform and I'll forward your resume.

If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses - Henry Ford

Putting this somewhere on your resume can only help, you are correct in assuming that a male hiring manager will want to interview you. Also be aware that if your resume goes to the desk of a woman she may toss it - women are catty in the work world too. DO make sure you're actually qualified for the job though........

I would not put it...my $0.02

Bring it up in an interview, depending on ur audience, but on a resume it will most likely piss off the homely HR ladies
