Citadel Global Equities (CGE) vs. Surveyor - The Difference?
Hi folks, I have been reading up about the HF industry and both Surveyor and CGE come in quite a bit through my readings. I tried to look them up on Citadel's website but couldn't carve out their differences: both seem to operate fundamental strategies. So what really distinguish them? Also for a junior looking to break into the industry, would it be better to take an offer from Surveyor or CGE? Thanks in advance.

They're basically the same. Surveyor was falling behind until the old head was fired and Todd Barker came over from GE to clean up the mess.
Now they have identical processes, risk model, etc. You could argue GE slightly better rep because it doesn't have that "blemish" but nowadays they're pretty much the same.
Believe, anecdotally, that Surveyor has a slightly to moderate longer term term hold period compared to cge
