Citi ghosting following Successful Campus Recruitment
I interviewed on campus with citi markets summer analyst back in April where I was part of a group of six people who were moved through on to the next round. After this news, the alums in charge of recruitment hosted an info session to outline the next steps and did an informational. However, since then there has been a radio silence from Citi and the recruiters while a female counterpart who was in my class has done multiple rounds of interviews. Is it normal to be pushed forward from on-campus interviews and then be ignored / dropped from the process. Or is it more likely that Citi is just recruiting in waves and first doing diversity before going into the normal pool. Thank you for your help.
I haven't done that many interviews yet but I've done a few. And from my experience, silence more often than not means bad news. However, that's not necessarily the case. I think it's always a good idea to reach out to your recruiters.
