continental Europe MSc Finance student to BB IBD SA in London

Hi, I've read a lot on this forum and seems to be very important to go to a target school in order to get into BB IBD. However, I found very little information about what it takes for someone from continantal Europe to get into BB IBD. Are the rules somewhat different? I'm a MSc Finance student in Belgium. My grades are good (I will graduate cum laude or magna cum laude) but I'm not in a target school. There are no target schools in Belgium. There are only four universities and my university is seen as the best, but not a target. The concept of target schools are new to me, as the universities in Belgium are all seen as good universities. Employers don't care where you got your degree from.

Can I get into BB IBD in London without going to expensive schools like LSE and HEC?
What are my options, and what are the different trajects Finance students from contental Europe have done to get into BB IBD?

Thanks!

I don't see any problem at all there. - As long as your GPA is extremely good and you don't come from a completely unknown university, you should have all the chances in the world. - I assume you also speak Dutch/French, so that makes you an asset anyway. - You also have a relevant background in a time where many BBs started hiring inter-disciplinary

If you have some good interships you're all set. Of course you'll face some fierce competition from really smart people who went to target schools, but i can not imagine your resume will get tossed into the bin just because you're not from one.
