Hey guys, was wondering what the better city is for dating as a single mid 20s guy. I've visited both places and know that Austin has 6th street/Rainey Street for nightlife but I wasnt there long enough to get a true sense of what the dating scene would be like. For anyone whose lived in both places I'd be curious as to which city you preferred. Thanks.

OP don't pick a city for dating. The dating scene everywhere is you see a cute girl and you shoot your shot. Do people here have such bad game that the ratio needs to be 1:10000?

I think this has been covered even on this forum before, but Austin seems to have a lot more young people from a variety of backgrounds, while people in Dallas tend to settle down faster. Got a friend around Dallas that confirmed this.
I've been in Dallas for about 3 months now. Lived just outside of Austin during college so I spent a lot of time there. Can confirm that Dallas doesn't seem that great in the dating scene (even though I'm taken so this is just observation) while Austin is pretty much 10/10.
They're both big cities with plenty of attractive young women. Depends on where you live and hang out in either city. Austin is more centralized, so if you're in central Austin it's going to have a higher concentration of singles. There's plenty of opportunity in both cities.
