Have heard from former team members that Shanahan is significantly more unlikable than Darcy and that Darcy respects hard work.
I like Bill Shanahan but I've only ever work with him as a client.
I heard she made an intern cry because she didn't like that he won the weekly competition of picking a nearby restaurants food to try.
Also heard she used to eat a double cheeseburger with fries every day.
Maybe that's why she got mad at the intern for picking a salad place

Not saying it should be this way, but for better or worse, it's because she's one of the leading brokers in the biz and such news will generate clicks. It's not news when Joe Shmoe gets into a car accident, but it is when Tiger Woods does
totally agree - but this is many Wall Street/real estate seniors. Can name many MD/group heads and Csuite with the same/worse temperament.. kinda par for the course (or at the very least not surprising)
You will still have bitches (analysts) be willing to eat the stapler that is thrown at them for lunch, work long hours for shit pay. If one leaves, you have 10 more waiting in line to take that spot. State of our industry though it is not unique to real estate, just the harsh world we live in.
