Data Breaches

Does anyone else find it odd that there has been a bit of a trend with data breaches? I understand the cybersecurity threat but I have a theory that some companies are selling consumer data and then calling it a "hack".

On another note, why is it that these multiple-victim shootings occur consecutively? It appears that the media will start pushing some narrative and then report between 5-10 stories that coincidentally occur around the same time to reinforce it.

Taking it a step further, cops killing unarmed black men occurred frequently in 2020 (but the last couple of years as well), but now that we have a new President, it seems to have come to a halt. I'm not saying those things didn't occur but it almost seemed politically motivated at a point.

Anyway, I may be missing some important details here but would like some people's opinions.
