D.E. Shaw Dress Code
What's the dress code for a first day internship at D.E. Shaw? I heard they had no dress code but for my first day I'm not sure.

Rather over dress than under dress, wear a tie.
My friends on the HF side dress extremely casually, but I would just do business casual (button down, nice slacks, no tie). Its always the safest bet
If you're worried you can stash a tie in your bag just in case, but i'd be surprised if you need it
this. nothing wrong with a sportcoat, buttondown & slacks combo. bring a tie just in case but I doubt you'll need it. you can always dress it down by removing the coat and rolling up your sleeves. better safe than sorry on the first day
