Deciding Undergrad for finance jobs

I'm a HS senior trying to decide between USC Marshall and UT Austin McCombs Business Honors; the cost of both are similar for me (after aid at USC and in-state for UT).

Some factors I'm considering are job placement into finance (maybe IB, not sure yet), relative prestige between the two, quality of undergraduate business/finance education, and general quality of life.

This question might have been asked before (first time on wso sorry!) so you can just link me to the relevant thread too. If you think there's other factors I should also be considering, please pitch in.

They both have virtually the same prestige, job opportunities, and plenty of fun to have at their respective locations. I can think of 3 main factors in this order of importance.

  1. Would you rather live in California or Texas after graduation? Do you prefer Tech or Oil IB?

  2. Culture of the people at the school. This is done by visiting or talking to students who attend.

  3. Do you want to stay close to home/go to a school where you will see people from your hometown? (Texas) This last one is a minor factor but one worth considering. However, it's such a large school, seeing others will be a rare occurrence unless you try to meet with them.
