Delaying Graduation for Coding Bootcamp

Basically, got a return offer at a solid tech boutique in San Francisco, but I was expecting the New York office which is the only office I can work full time for personal reasons. They aren't budging, and originally told me it was "99%" chance I would get NY for full time. Because of this, I did not FT recruit during the summer, and now not many good shops are left.

I've always been interested in coding. Even if I can't become a full fledged software engineer, I would still love to possess that skill.

There's a bootcamp that would require a semester to complete that a lot of my friends went to. If I delay my graduation by a semester and attend this bootcamp, then focus my attention over the summer on FT recruiting for IB, would I be at a disadvantage, or would the delay in graduation raise eyebrows? Also, would I have to look for another SA opportunity, or look for something else coding related?

Thanks!
