Deliemma trying to break into IB

Hey I kind of have a problem and was wondering if I could get some advice on my current situation. I am from a non-target school and currently a senior with 4 classes left to graduate in May 2019. I did a wealth management internship this past summer at a BB because I thought that is what I wanted to do.After further consideration I wanted to do something more analytical/technical so I decided I wanted to go into IB. Long story short I tried and break in starting in August and got interviews to multiple firms but ultimately could not get any offers for FT.I then thought to myself I could defer my semester and do another summer internship that way when next fall comes around I can rerecruit and have a shot this time. I also thought about other options such as just graduating and trying to do a financial analyst type role or something that I can try and lateral into IB after a year or so. Lastly, I also thought about basically telling the firms I am graduating a semester late to get an internship and once I accept and get closer to the summer, I tell them I graduated already and take my chances and hopefully they still let me work there since what would be the difference and I ultimately wouldn't want to graduate a semester late. I was also thinking if I did do this option, I could recruit into FT the same as if I was a student.I currently just got an offer from a MM firm (Think Regions, PNC, STRH) as a SA but still conflicted as to what my best bet would be and if "lying" would come around to bite me in the ass bad or if the chance would be worth it.Thanks in advance!
