Deloitte S&O Final Round - What are the odds?
Hello,
I just finished my final round with Deloitte S&O. I absolutely murdered the group case interview but if I were to grade myself on the individual case interview I'd give myself an 8/10 maybe 8.5/10. I hear back in a week regarding my offer but am currently sitting at the airport pondering what I could have done better and whether it was good enough or not to get an offer. Just some background i'm a PPMD (Principal, Partner, MD) referral and as was everyone I interviewed with. I was one of 22 candidates that day and I feel I probably ranked in the top 25%, MAYBE top 40%. Is there anyone out there with experience on the final round and know what my chances of getting an offer are?
PS if anyone has up and coming Deloitte interviews I'd be more than happy to give you a little insight into what the process entails.
Thanks
Hi there,
I just finished my final round with Deloitte BTA last Friday. There are around 23 candidates including full-time and interns. From what I heard, the office I interviewed at has 20 seats for full-time and 5 for summer interns. I assumed they want at least 5 full-time from my university. My chances of getting an offer are 1/3 based on my assumptions. I am from ATL, where are you from? The open seats from location to location vary, and I don't know much about S&O.
Agree with this, it depends on location. Our OCR deadline is end of October and there are 3 intern slots and 15 full-time this year. Source - Deloitte Info Session.
Hey! I have a BTA final round interview coming up, would you mind sharing some details of the interview? For example, how long was the behavioral part and how long was the case/technical part? What kind of technical questions did they ask? Also, were you invited to a pre-final round social the night before? What was the social like? I'm kind of nervous about the social, and I'm not sure if I should ask questions about the work/firm or I should just talk about chill stuff like life and hobbies. Thank you so much!

Congrats on making it to the final round! I would try and focus on not worrying as that won't help in any way, shape or form. I can't speak to your chances of receiving an offer since each office varies in how many they bring to the final round - I can say it is extremely competitive though, especially through national channels. They have 200+ applicants for 4 spots in some cases. If you made it this far you obviously are doing something right.
I would do everything in your power to talk about yourself and your experiences. This is my first year on the other side of the table and you would be amazed how annoying it is to be asked the same questions over and over. I would make sure that they know you have interest but remember that these people have been grinding out all week and in many cases just having a normal friend to friend conversation can make you stand out.
Goodluck!
Thank you for the insight! Yes I can totally imagine how frequently some questions are being asked. I guess my best bet would be just being me, and enjoying the interview process.
Thanks again!
Hi, I just finished the Deloitte BTA final round last Friday. It was interesting to see you have been through the same thing. Did you get the offer eventually? Curious to know!
