Development Analyst Exit Ops - When Should I Begin Looking - Where are my most likely exits?

I have been on the job 1 month now, but ideally I'd love to go REPE and do more investment related work as well as see a bigger paycheck.
All in, first year, I will make $80K, what can I expect as a 2nd year either here at the REIT, or at another firm?
