Diversity program eligibility

I've been looking at some diversity programs that presently recruit at my midwest semi-target school. I do not qualify as a diversity applicant, but some of these programs appear to state that they are also available to "exceptional students" from non-diverse backgrounds as well. Would it be worth the time and effort to apply these programs?

The bigger problem is that they don't let me upload a pdf of my resume. What the heck? I don't have a doc version of it and when I try and convert it the formatting gets super messed up :-(

From experience, Its a strong program that is geared towards diversity candidates. A scholarship and internship opportunity with one of the BB's is an amazing opportunity.

I'm honestly confused as to where all the resentment and seething hate is originating from...

I dont know where you got all that. The OP asked a question that he already knows the answer to. This diversity application question gets asked all the time, and every time they get the same answer (no) which confirms that they already know. Idk where you're getting the vibe of "seething hate" from this thread., except the penguin guy but honestly who cares what he thinks
