Do Bankers and Financiers Golf A Lot?
Do people in the finance industry like to golf? I spent a lot of time golfing instead of studying (huge mistake) and was wondering if I had good chance to leverage my diminishing golf game into networks.
I go to a non-target but at least I can hit a nasty 300 yard drive.
I don't think it's nearly as prevalent as it used to be. I have been invited a handful of times but get invited to dinners and stuff like that far more frequently. I'm on the west coast if it matters. Just seems like a PITA whole day type of thing.
Thanks for your input
Real estate people do. Lot of mountain biking too.
Wow, you have a lot of bananas.
Yeah I'm up there.
and also thank you for your input
All of my more senior team members (VPs, MDs) typically play at least once a week.
Thank you, that's great news to me. At the least it might be something to bring up when I network.
Put your Handicap Index on your resume if you're under like a 4/5. That's what I did.
Only if you're good. I fuckin suck so it doesn't really benefit me too much.
