So, I am a non-target school kid who just got an internship at BB IB for the summer. I go to a small college in a place that is definitely not Virginia in one of the best fraternity in America. Let's go PIKE!!! A little Linkedin connection flex the guy is an I was referred by a blackrock SMD and I charmed my way in the interview. Interview was super easy, I see a bunch of people stress about interviews on here but they asked me to walk them through a DCF which I did, they saw my pulp fiction poster on my wall and we spent 8 minutes able about how Quentin Tarantino is one of the best director. We talked about golfing and how I was golfing with the MD and he told me about the internship. Overall easy interview. 10/10.
What truly annoyed me was when I tried to tell a girl that yeah i will be in the city the summer for an internship and she asked me what city. I told her the greatest city in the world and she again asked me what city and I told her NYC and she told me a couple of her friends go to NYU. Told her the bank and she had the nerve to tell me you are going to NY for them when they have a branch everywhere, How dare she call me a retail banker. I had to get the brothers to ban her from any of our future parties. sorry for the rant needed someone to talk to and therapy is too expensive.
