do you ever feel this job is not for you?
I just moved to NYC not many friends or many things to do anyway so I thought working so hard for couple of years would pass and eventually get me to something better. but sometimes I just can’t. I work with very nice people but I miss having a job from 9-5 and doing other things throughout my day. I hate having to be super responsive to emails do you ever feel that this job is not for you? what about the money? what would you do without it? what other job would pay this well?
Are you in IB? If you are, isn't it true that, though the hours are long, you have a lot of down-time during the day? And aren't you still working remotely, which allows you to do personal stuff throughout the day?
I do think that this job is for me, however recruiters have a different opinion
Looksl ike you worked 9-5 before. I wish to be that way someday because life is not all about money. Took me 22 years to realize that.
