2018 Cryptocurrency Predictions?

Wow. What a year 2017 was for in regards to cryptocurrencies. At the start of the previous year, the total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies was just below 20 billion. Around the same time, we have seen the market cap rise over spike 3,400% to a market cap of about $700 billion currently. While we have seen the world's most popular crypto in Bitcoin rise to levels that almost seem unfathomable at times, it was a year in which many other altcoins such as Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, IOTA and more, rise in price and gained great popularity along the way. While Satoshi's initial intent may have been for Bitcoin to be utilized as a medium of exchange, instead an entirely new asset class has been created that there is still much to learn from and we will see evolve in the coming months.

So with regards to the new year, where do you see the top cryptocurrencies by the end of the year? Will prices keep rising? Do you think the possibility of increased regulation will impact the market? Will we perhaps see a more stable market? Feel free to comment anything else that you feel is relevant!

Personal Cryptocurrency Price Predictions:

Bitcoin: $25,000
Ethereum: $5,000
Litecoin: $1,000
Ripple: $5
IOTA: $9-$10

I'm predicting Ripple will surpass Bitcoin in market cap, which will probably cause a short-term market crash. And if all the exchange issues get sorted out, I see XRB as having a place in the top five, right around $300 per coin right below Ripple, as its fee-less and instant nature allows it to become a popular trading pair once XRB gets listed on bigger exchanges.
