Does Bridgewater Associates blacklist?
I was thinking of applying for one of the entry level positions at Bridgewater, just for the heck of it.
Aside from the weird culture, I'm a fan of Principles and the interview process seems odd yet interesting (group debate on a philosophical topic). That being said, I'm not the most amazing candidate from an ivy league school with an extensive debate background, so realistically I doubt I'll proceed very far.
I'd like to, at some point far down in my career (I'm currently a senior in college), try for a more senior position at Bridgewater again....but will Bridgewater blacklist me if I do really bad in the first phone-interview/subsequent rounds?
Define 'really bad'
Probably not terrible, but just a sub-par performance (i.e. not being able to discuss a certain topic in depth)
Most people who are interviewed aren't good enough to get the role. They're not black listed. Don't worry about it, aim high and take your chances
...LOL no they don't blacklist if you have a bad interview
Guess I'll just shoot my shot then lol
