So what is the end game here.. work to the point of burn out so you can make a lot of money, spend a lot of that money on things that help you feel less burned out, rinse and repeat? Something about that doesn't sound like a long term path to happiness.
The goal is to avoid burnout and stay motivated until I can afford capital-intensive hobbies
What are your hobbies? Maybe hop on tinder while at it
If you're into motorsport activities I have to ask the usuals: Have you looked up your local SCCA chapter to check into auto-x or local rally events (to at least attend and hang out)? What about cars and coffee meets around you? What about some project vehicle you can get yourself into and maybe attract some buddies to help with (I've met lots of cats on BMW/VW/Audi boards, even neighbors this way)? Combine your WFH pipe dream and build out an expo vehicle and tick off several hobby boxes in one. For all we know, you find yourself moonlighting doing car sales for unique cars?

From experience, burnout cannot really be fixed outside work. You can learn to ignore it, enjoy weekends more, but I would focus more on your work habits than trying to spend a lot of money outside of it to be happy. Obviously burnout is more of a job problem than a you problem, but consider some ways to set boundaries at work. I follow a few burnout coaches on TikTok and while their advice is more tailored to 9-5 types there's some improvements you can make. I turned off email notifications on the advice of one of them and that helped a lot.
I would not drop $25k+ on an Airstream as an A1. That's way too much money at your stage, especially when you don't know what you want to do (staying in IB long-term is really rare for a reason). Plus, logistically it's difficult - you'd have to get at least 2-3 hours out of NYC to have any real nature place to park it, and you'll spend the entire time trying to work on shitty wifi / in a small setup instead of unplugging outside. Figure out your next gig and plan for this expense in 2-3 years if you really want it.
If you can get a decent chunk of time to WFH (say like 5 days) maybe rent an Airstream or outdoorsy house upstate, or even use a week off on this
This is a lot more beneficial than my diatribe on motorsports above. This should be advice given during onboarding to all interns and SAs getting into this world.

Emily Ballesteros is awesome and helped me set some real boundaries. Kim Hires also makes videos but don't love them as much
Some of the videos lean woke/anti-work, so take everything with a grain of salt. But there are definitely good takeaways - turning off email notifications, or ways to phrase saying no/pushing back without sounding straight up unwilling to work on a project.

Yeah I just googled "how much is a used Airstream" and it gave me $25k to start. I guess that's one that doesn't run.
$60k is something to buy much later on, that's your entire post-tax bonus right now

The biggest issue with banking is that the general lack of work-life balance impedes on your very efforts to create some consistency for work-life balance. It is all dependent on your managers and whether your can successfully set boundaries without seeming ungrateful to them. Can you really escape on the weekends as an A1 and be in an area with shitty reception to go dirt biking as an A1... really depends on the culture of your firm.
My recommendation is rent an airstream for a month and see whether this lifestyle is sustainable with your work's culture / expectations.
