EB Partner Asked if you need water in interview

Before the start of the interview, the partner at an EB asked if I needed water, I asked all good. He asked again at the end and I went to get tea with him. What does this mean? Sorry, many just overthink.

He was probably just being polite and at the end he just wanted something to drink too. During my interview last year the analyst who was taking us to our interview rooms kept offering me and girl with me water and we both kept saying no. Eventually the analyst just went and brought back water bottles for us. I guess she could tell we were just nervous and trying to be too polite.

Doesn't mean anything - good you got tea with him after.

I remember at one fund I was visiting, the secretary placed me in a large conference room and said the PM would be in shortly. I accepted her offer for water, was not aware I would be getting my own hand-cut crystal decanter/pitcher and glass which she filled quite slowly for me... while the PM was entering.
