EDHEC - MSc Financial Markets vs MSc Corporate Finance and Banking

Hello Let me quickly introduce myself: I am a German student who has just finished his MSc studies at Aston Business School (MSc Investment Analysis), UK, and have been admitted for a Double Degree at EDHEC Business School. I have done multiple internships including investment banking and consulting. My goal is to start in IB (goal is BB) in London, New York or Frankfurt in summer 2018.

However, I am unsure which program will be better suited to reach my goals. The more reputable Financial Markets (ranking and higher GMAT) or the more closely related corporate finance and Banking.

Does someone have any relevant experiences or further insight?

Hello,

I have the same question, but i already decided to go for the Msc in corporate finance and Banking. In my case, my profesional background is in corporate finance and consulting services, but my goal is to jump to IB. Probably in Paris or elsewhere in Europe.

Was this an assertive choice? Or should i have stayed with the Msc in Financial Markets?

Thank you

Hi, I got accepted to Msc in corporate finance and Banking at EDHEC. Do you think this program will help me get a job in IB/PE/VC or should I go for their MSc in Financial Markets Program which rather focuses on pricing securities. Thanks

Hello,

I also have the same question and would like to know if I chose correctly by applying to the MSc in Financial Markets. I majored in Capital Markets throughout my undergraduate degree and would like to know if this MSc was the correct choice if I would like to enter IB at a BB in Europe. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Thank you very much.
