Europe/Scandinavia: VC Off-Cycle Internship
Hi all,
I recently interviewed for a VC firm who told me to prepare salary prospective for next interview. They said "we offer a competitive VC salary". It's a full-time off-cycle internship for 6 months.
I would appreciate to hear what people at VC firms (interns) make (especially if you're in Scandinavia / Europe).
Was in a similar situation, also in the Nordics, and transitioned from part-time to full time for 1 year internship at the same fund in between my BSc and MSc. Equivalent pay per hour went from 20EUR to 25EUR based on a full time 40 hour per week contract (so I went from part time 20EUR/hour to full time just below 4000EUR/month. Hope it serves as a reference point but keep in mind that I was very well comped relative to other Nordic fund interns I've known.
