Does anyone have info on Evercore's analyst program with regards to groups? To my understanding the internship is a generalist program, for full time do you go through a group placement? If so what are their available groups and which are the strongest?

You do a generalist program for six months and then you are placed into a group. Depending on your reputation as an analyst, you might or might not get your top 2 choices. You can also try to stay in the "generalist" group (only a small number of analysts can actually do so) but it is one of the more popular groups to get in. Tech is also one of the best groups at EVR.
