Hi I was wondering if people could post examples of significant Wall Street figures that came from a military background? Bankers, traders, managers, are all good.
I can only think of Andreas Halvorsen, former Norwegian SEAL (blanking right now).
I read an article that said that in some cases a military background is a plus, you are more able to handles pressure etc. Anyway I think a post with some examples can be helpful for those who want to see the career paths of fellow vets.
I know various ex-Army/Navy/Marines plying their trade in the LA IBD scene.
I don't think it's that rare.
In terms of big-shots on the street, I do not know of any other than Halvorsen.
