Exits to Corporate Finance roles?
Would a mid-tier BB (CS, BAML, Barclays, Citi) provide better exits to corporate finance roles at a blue-chip company compared to an EB (EVC, PJT)?

It doesn’t matter as long as you’re coming from a reputable shop you should be able to land some nice corporate roles whether that’s Corp Fin, Corp Dev, or Corp Strat. I would argue it may depend more on the group rather than the firm at that point.
I’ve seen junior-ish people in corporate finance roles who came from top BB’s and EB’s, and I’ve also seen people who came from no-name shops or TAS roles at Big 4 companies. It’s a mixed bag. As with everything else (I comment something in this vein a lot) there’s really no pre-determined best path and your ability to get the role you want post-banking will probably be determined more by the people you built relationships with and the work you did than the name on your resume
