Experienced VP Needs Advice

11 Years in business - 120 AUM doing well. I have considered selling my practice inside my current bd a regional well known name. I am bored with the business. I don't like running appointments anymore, don't like meeting with clients and dealing with the psychology of it all (clients) and really need a challenge. I am burnt out in retail land. Started working out of school for dicsount broker on options desk. I really enjoy trading and have been successful in the past with short term trading. I'll have anywhere between 300-500K to start trading. I have looked at prop shops but considered just running my own money through IB or Tradestation. Is there anywhere anyone would recommend that is legit where I can get training and trade professionally from my own office in the midwest? Any thoughts, comments, etc. are much appreciated.
